Sarah Shahi is an American actress who is best known for her performance in the television series Life. Shahi is of Iranian and Spanish origins. Her work has widened her views beyond the religious or regional borders. From a very young age, Shahi was aspired to become an actress. As a young girl of eight, she began modeling. While in school, and later at college, she did some acting. Sarah was, now an accomplished film and TV actor, started her career in obscurity. She is the daughter of two professors. She was born Sarah Anne Callies. She is a wonderfully gifted American actress who is perhaps most famous for her role as Sara Tancredi in the Fox television series Prison Break (co-star Wentworth Miller) and Lori Grimes in AMC's The Walking Dead. Callies moved to New York in 2003 and then quickly landed her first TV role, Kate O'Malley, a recurring part in the air-tuned CBS series Queens Supreme.
