Keerthy Yessh, born 17 October 1992 in India, is a movie actress. Keerthy has mainly appeared in Tamil and Telugu cinema along with a handful of Malayalam. She was awarded the National Film Award as Best Actress in 2018 in the role of actress Savitri and her role in the Telugu film Mahanati. The actress also won three SIIMA Awards and a Filmfare Award South. Keerthy is the daughter of filmmaker G. Suresh Kumar and actress Menaka G. Suresh. The early 2000s were when she began as a young actor. After studying fashion design, she returned to film. Her debut lead role came in 2013's Malayalam movie Geethaanjali. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Keerthy embarked on her very first Malayalam projects and also began to work on projects in Tamil simultaneously. In the year 2015, she debuted A. A. Vijay's romantic comedies Idhu Enna Maayam and Vikramprabhu opposite one another. But, both films did not do well at the theaters. To fit in more ambitious projects, she needed to pull out of films she had been working on for a while. This include Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye and as Deekay's Kavalaivendam. In the end, she was also involved in two projects, Rajini Murugan followed by Remo with Sivakarthikeyan. Dhanush also played her role as Thodari for Prabhu Solomon's Thodari. The film was delayed. Reports indicate that Janakitho Nenu is expected to release in September 2020. In the year 2016 Nenu Sailaja which starred Ram Pothineni, was her debut. In January of 2017, Keerthy appeared in Bairavaa, opposite actor Vijay and produced by Bharathan. Keerthy was in Tamil movie Paambhu Satai along with Telugu film Nenu Local both in 2017.
