Anna Kendrick, an American actress who has been nominated to win the Academy Award, is best known as a leading role in Twilight. Born in Portland, Maine, she began her acting career when she was a young girl as a part of High Society, a popular Broadway musical. A Little Night Music is the name of a Stephen Sondheim musical that she played in as part of a New York City Opera. Then she went to the film and achieved the spotlight as an actress due to her part in Twilight. In the romantic fantasy film she was the girlfriend of the main character. The same character was played as well for the film The Twilight Saga New Moon. There have also been a handful of appearances on TV, including episodes of Fear Itself and Comedy Bang! Bang!
